Busy Girl

About Busy Girl

23m | 2 CABINS | 4 CREW

Busy Girl is the perfect floating getaway home, with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

Busy Girl stays in the Komodo National Park all year round. Originally a former Australian fishing boat built from Tasmanian Pine, Busy Girl was redesigned as a Diving & Cruising Vessel in 2011 to comfortably accommodate 4 guests.

Equipped with both inside and outside dining areas as well as a chill-out deck with beanbags, the Busy Girl provides ample intimate spaces for taking in the vistas, eating, and socializing. Below deck, she features a double cabin with an ensuite bathroom and a twin cabin with a shared bathroom, both providing complimentary shampoo and soap. The cabins each have air-con that can be controlled individually.

The dive deck is at sea level, with 2 tank stations per diver, allowing us to fill the spare tanks while we are off diving so that the boat remains as quiet as possible between dives and overnight. The 3 crew members make sure that Busy Girl runs as smoothly as possible and your Cruise Director takes care of your diving-
& excursion plans and wishes.

Busy Girl may be small, but her size and agility allow us to approach most dive sites directly, entering the water with a giant stride or by a short ride in our tender.

Current Junkies

Until 2022, Busy Girl was running as the liveaboard of ‘Current Junkies’, the much wilder region in the Scuba Republic. Her only purpose was to find the strongest currents and fiercest conditions for those who were seeking one adrenaline boost after the other.

Very experienced divers can still charter BUSY GIRL for such a trip! We have not forgotten!

Still, we want to be a little more democratic and make her also available for the other part of citizens to show that she can also be calm and gentle.

These guys are the best. It was our first liveaboard and I can't say enough about this boat and crew what an unforgettable experience fantastic diving , great food, happy crew. Emma is absolutely the best dive master most informative her knowledge of each and every inch of Komodo is just incredible and the experience to do Manta Alley 2 dives with so many manta around us was amazingly awesomely the best dive I have ever experienced a big tick on my list. Thanks for taking us we will be back.

Current Junkies is one if not THE best Live aboard I have ever done.

That there are only space for 4 divers creates a feeling of intimacy and one really get to know each other. Also that they try to mix divers with a similar level of experience on the trip was something I really appreciated so that every diver can get the maximum experience of their trip.

The price puts it in the medium or budget price range but is exceptional good value for money. But what you want form a Live aboard you get and more. There really isn´t any reason to look further then Current Junkies.

I can highly recommend the trip. Emma the cruise director finds always the best dive sites and best conditions for you and we were always without any other dive groups under water. I’ve learned so much on this trip and Emma makes sure you always jump at the right time on the right spot. Komodo can be challenging, but you feel always safe and prepared.

The boat is comfortable and has a very practical layout plus very useful details.

The crew is super nice, funny and is always taking care of you. Food is great, too.

Thanks for sharing your passion for the ocean and for diving with us and for all the good times.

After that trip I don’t want to dive Komodo on another boat anymore.

Looking forward seeing you again on another trip.
