About Jaya
23m | 7 CABINS | 8 CREW
The Jaya is our expedition vessel. She moves seasonally between Komodo, Raja Ampat, and long-range expeditions. Built in 1999, she has sailed and ventured the waters of South East Asia with her faithful captain, who has been running the boat since the beginning.
Below deck, 7 cabins can accommodate a total of 14 guests. The 4 twin cabins with two shared bathrooms and 3 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms are each equipped with an AC unit to keep you refreshed and power sockets for charging. All bathrooms provide freshwater showers, shampoo, and soap to keep up with basic hygiene.
Jaya is a very strong and capable boat designed to explore the fantastic world around us. Jaya itself is designed from the keel up to appear as a Phinisi sailing schooner, using traditional methods that have served the Bugis people of South Sulawesi for centuries.
This boat is completely hand-built over the course of eighteen months and looks stunning with her six sails up. The upper deck has plenty of shaded space for lounging, napping, eating, or just enjoying the breath-taking scenery as it quietly passes by. It includes several separate tables with round the edge seating so that you can spread out in the space in between dives.
On the sun deck area, you find beanbags for your afternoon nap, sunbathing, or for star gazing at night. The dive deck is equipped with tank spaces around the edge while the centre provides room to store fins and masks, hanging space for wetsuits, and freshwater containers for torches and cameras.

The Jaya endeavours to hit all the top diving spots in each region to provide a schedule packed with phenomenal diving and breath-taking land visits!
